Psychology Laboratory

The Psychology Laboratory has good test material and performance equipment suitable for B.Ed. students in St. Mary Stella College of Education, Pedatadepalli. The B.Ed. students are frequently exposed to the lab material for practicum. It is useful for B.Ed. students to enrich in their education. The B.Ed. students carry their work using the different Psychology tests to all topics in the curriculam in Educational Psychology. It is good utility for B.Ed. students.

Educational Technology Lab

The educational Technology Laboratory is having different type of equipments like Six Computer units, over head projector, Slide projector, LCD Projector, Film Strip Projector, Speaker, Amplifier, Tape Recorder, T.V., VCD, DVD etc. The student teachers make use of the facilities for their teaching practice. They are using CDs and Cassettes for teaching practice.

The Science Laboratory is having good number of equipment in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics. The students regularly try out their experiments in teaching practice and intership classes. The students are using all the equipments available in the college for their teaching practice.

Computer Laboratory

The computer is equipped with 7 Computers which are interconnected with LAN. The Computer Lecturer having good experience to guide each student in B.Ed. course. The B.Ed. students are using computers for preparing teaching, learning material. The students are making different projects with the help of computers.

Work experience Laboratory

The work experience Laboratory is adequately equipped with tools instruments and work tools required to do socially useful productive work by the teacher trainees satisfactorily in the Lab. Important tools for carpentry agriculture mechanical, electrical and often related work are properly arranged in the spacious room.

Library and reading Room

The Library cum reading room is having 4000 different type of books for B.Ed. students. It has spacious place for the students to read different books and take notes on different topics. The students are able to take books for some period of time and return back in the library in the period of college academic year

Other Activities

Class Room

Formation of Educational and started activities from July onwards, conducting Quiz, Essay writing, debate and other library activities monthly. We celebrating 15th August Independence Day and conducting the competitions in games and cultural activities and prizes are given to the winners. We celebrating the Teachers’ day on September 5th and arrange lectures by eminent teachers. We conducting Cultural Activities and prizes are given to the winners. Every year the college students are participating in many programmes and providing their activities in youth festivals conducted by Andhra University. We are celebrating the Children’s Day on 14th November and conducting co-curricular activities by our students. On December 1st to create awareness on AIDS. We are participating in Rallies at Pedatadepalli and Tadepalli Gudem Villages. On December 23rd we are conducting Semi Christmas Celebrations and our students are participating in cultural activities. We also celebrating January 26th Republic Day and conducting different programmes in the college.

Besides this part of curriculam every trainee of our college adopting 2 drop-outs from their Native Villages and successfully, joining the drop outs in regular schools. Our students participating in Akshara Vanitha programme conducted at Tadepalligudem town did good literary work among women.

For the betterment of S.S.C. results our trainees adopting 10th class students from neighbouring schools of Tadepalligudem and giving good academic support to the S.S.C. students Our trainees are preparing teaching learning materials and donating to the Municipal Schools of Tadepalligudem Municipality during their teaching practice campaign.
